Light Red | The difference is in the (-4TS; -3TS] range | Weak Short |
Dark Red | The difference is lower than -4*TS | Strong Short |
SideWinder Colors
The SideWinder coloring is as follows:
Color | Meaning | Signal |
Red | No trend | None |
Yellow | Transition | Weak at max |
Lime Green | Trend | ChopZone signal |
Signals
Strong Long | When ChopZone is Strong Long and SideWinder (if enabled) is Green and CTS (if enabled) is Green (at top of indicator panel) |
Weak Long | See ChopZone Colors table |
None | See ChopZone Colors table, or when SideWinder is enabled and red |
Weak Short | See ChopZone Colors table |
Strong Short | When ChopZone is Strong Short and SideWinder (if enabled) is Green and CTS (if enabled) is Red (at bottom of indicator panel) |
Settings
Ignore SideWinder Signals | Enable this to ignore the Woodies CCI SideWinder, otherwise the SideWinder is plotted at the top of the indicator and the signals combined with the ChopZone signals |
ChandesTrendScore Lookback | Enter a lookback period to show and combine the ChandesTrendScore (CTS), or zero to disable this |
ChopZone plot | The ChopZone is plotted as vertical lines (a flat histogram), and is colored automatically by the indicator. So the only thing that makes sense changing is the width of the bars |
SideWinder plot | The SideWinder is plotted at level 90, and is colored automatically by the indicator. You can change the width and the shape |
ChandesTrendScore plot | The ChandesTrendScore (CTS) is plotted as a line and is automatically colored red or green for extreme values. You can change the width and the color in between extremes |
