IchimokuDMISAR-settings

This is an enhanced version of the normal Ichimoku indicator, which is combined with ADX/DMI and SAR to filter the trading signals.
The ADX/DMI uses the standard 14 periods, and the SAR uses the standard settings of 0.02/0.2/0.02.

The signals are basically the same, but the Ichimoku definition for Strong is somewhat eased and filtered afterwards based on ADX/DMI and SAR signals.

Alerts

  • When the signal becomes Strong
  • When the TenkanSen crosses the KijunSen
  • When price breaks out of the Cloud
  • When the DMI becomes Strong

Signals

Strong LongWhen the Tenkan is above the Kijun, the price is above both and the ADX/DMI and SAR are Strong Long
Weak LongWhen the Tenkan is above the Kijun, the price is above the Kijun but below the Tenkan and the ADX/DMI and SAR are Long
NoneWhen all other conditions aren’t valid
Weak ShortWhen the Tenkan is below the Kijun, the price is above the Kijun but below the Tenkan and the ADX/DMI and SAR are Short
